Grey Cup 2011

We went down to Vancouver for the Grey Cup 2011!! It was a blast! I wanted to make a canvas for these pictures with the tickets. So this is what I came up with!

I bought the canvas and orange paint at the dollar store. I stamped the paw prints in the black paint and stamped them on the canvas. I also did some paint splatters on it. Here is a close up.

Another Layout!!

I am on a roll this month! 2 single page layouts, 1 double page layout and 2 cards!! I rock!! LOL So I have had this picture for a while. It has to be one of the best pictures that I have ever taken!! This is my daughter and her horse. I took this picture in 2010.

It is the cutest picture ever! What happened was we just got 2 baby horses and well my daughters horse was a bit upset with us. So we put her in another pen! Doesn't she look sad! LOL My daughter felt sorry for her so she went in to comfort her. :)

I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme #65 it is the perfect sketch for this picture! I didn't want to put too much on this layout because the main focal point is the picture!

I am also going to enter my layout in ScrapFIT #60 The Simple Things

I used bobunny glitter paper from my stash, tim holtz ribbon.

A Winter Card

A cute little winter card! I made this card this weekend with a stamp that I have been wanting to color since I won it!! I think I won it in 2010!! Isn't she so cute! She is an Elisabeth Bell image. I have always loved Elisabeth Bell's stamps! :)

I colored her with my copics, used my favorite nesties, used that beautiful snowflake ribbon!! Paper is from my stash. :)

Sketches In Thyme Challenge #66

So I have moved half, ok maybe a quarter of my scrapbook stuff into my front room. That way I can create and play and still be with the family! OMG the difference! I made a layout this weekend, coloured some images and made a card!! WOW I say!! :) My family was happy too! I didn't feel like I was neglecting them. Which is an added bonus!! I also get great exercise running back and forth to my room to get stuff! :)

So anyway on with the challenge!! Over at Sketches in Thyme they have this great sketch!! It was perfect for some more Christmas pictures!!

So here is the sketch!!

I used my bobunny paper! one of my favourite collections! It is hard since I moved to be able to keep up on the new papers and such so I am using what I have in my stash! :) I used these beautiful pictures of my daughter and our horses! :) Don't they look so cute! What a great memory!! :) I used liquid glass on the Title to make it pop and not blend in!

Tall & Skinny Challenge - Scrapbookers Paradise - PPC48

So Friday I searched for a fun challenge and guess what!! Over at Scrapbookers Paradise the challenge is to make a Tall & Skinny card!! that is fun and easy right!! :)

So I wanted to make a card for my Bestie!! Actually I am Best and she is Friend! LOL Anyway we always have a lot of laughs when we are together. It is too bad she lives so far away now. So I made her this card to let her know I am thinking about her!!

I used my new nesties and my art impression stamps! I made the pattern paper and coloured with copics. I still have a lot to learn about copic markers but practice makes perfect right!!

Here is a close up of the sentiment!!

Stuck On U Sketches - Jan 6th Challenge 2012

Over at Suck On U Sketches I found this great sketch!! It was perfect for some Christmas pictures!!

So I am very excited!! We had a great Christmas holiday. My Husband was asked to dress up as Santa this year for the annual Christmas Dinner in town! I am shocked that he said yes!! So of course I had to take lots of pictures so I could scrapbook them!! :)

Here is my take on the sketch!

He rode around town in his sleigh, giving candy canes to the children! Then he was driven to the airport and put on a helicopter and arrived at the main event! :) It was great!!

I bought this border from Michaels last year on clearance! $2!!! Great deal hey.

I used some stickles on the lights to make them sparkle

These sayings are made from quickutz

I used some of my rub ons this one says "I've been an angel all year"!

Last but not least here is my man!! I used some rub on the picture to take up some of the blue sky!

I just had to share this picture. Might have to be on my cards next year!

So this holiday season I managed to get into my scrapbook room a few times! Oh it was so nice. But why does time fly so fast while we are in our scrapbook rooms!!

My daughter and I made these books. They are our version of Smash books! Just personalized!!

I went to the dollar store in town and bought some note books with thick paper. Then I used Close to My Heart Stamps and just some paper I had in my stash.

Finally got some use out of it!! :) I glittered him up with some stickles and used some of my quickutz sayings that my daughter also got me last year!! Paper is bobunny from last year as well!! Hey everyone! I was so excited when I was asked to be a guest designer over at Scrapbooker's Paradise. Thank you!

So the challenge this week is to make a round/circle card! It is my uncles birthday coming up so I decided to make a masculine card. :)

This is what I came up with!

I used bo bunny paper,

coloured with copics,

tim holtz ribbon. I had that ribbon forever and finally got a chance to use it!

My stamps are from Stampendous. Aren't they so cute!!

Buttons were stampin up.

An Easel Card - Playing in Paradise #40

I am so happy! I actually made an easel card this weekend! :) Those cards always scared me!! They looked hard. Turns out they are so much fun to make! :)

I made this card for my really good friend who has graduated college with honours and also has found a job in the field that she took! I am so happy for her! We always drink margaritas together. :) I just wish I was there to see her ceremony. :(

My Scrapbook Room! Organized and Clean!!

For those of you who don't know. I moved away from all my friends and family in April 2011. I have done a bit of card making and a few layouts in my new scrapbook room, But it was a giant Mess!!! I finally had time to clean it up and organize my scrapbook room!!

Here is the view walking up the stairs to my scrapbook room!!

This is on the wall on the top of the stairs! We found these shelves under the stairs of our new house!! SCORE!! on these shelves I have a few canvases that I made and that Cheri had made me as well and a few other things!

This is my room!

This is the shelve above my work space. In the candle holders I have ribbon, buttons and flowers! Stole the idea from Cheri!!

This is where I keep all my paper. Ribbons are in a ribbon box on top. Buttons are in jars on top as well. Divided into colours. In the drawers I have all sorts of embellishments, glitter and more!!

Here we have stamps, ribbon, chipboard, quickutz, nesties and more!

My daughter went to a Rock Camp for a week. She had such a great time!! So I figured that would be a great layout for this sketch!! A Very Special Day Today!

So as I was saying!! Today is a VERY VERY SPECIAL DAY!! Why you ask? Because today is my daughters 13th birthday!! Happy Birthday!!

I made her this card for her birthday! I use a whipper snapper stamp that she just had to have! LOL It is a beautiful stamp. I colored with my copics and added some glitter! The paper is from my stash! It is funny because I made a horse card a while ago but in Blues & Browns and my daughter wanted me to make her one in pink & browns. But I couldn't find the paper! Guess what I found after I moved!! In my STASH!!! Yikes!! LOL So here is her birthday card!!!

30 day Photo Challenge! August 2011

So for over at Oh So Lovely she is having a 30 day Photo Challenge!! It sounds like a lot of fun! So I figured why not join in this fun! So I started on day 3 and went out side and there was not a cloud in the sky!! So I figured ok might have to get that one on day 4!!

Here is my Day 4! My favourite color! It was so cool cause I was having tea and remember oh ya! I need to take a picture of my favourite color!! This is my tea ball in my cup! On the end of the tea ball is a blue spoon. :)

Day 5 is Someone I love! I have a lot of people and animals in my life that I love! I have a beautiful daughter, a loving husband and well my Dalmatian is very special to me as well!! She is my lap puppy! Really she thinks that she is a lap puppy. She is my shadow and one of my babies!!

My plan at the end of Aug is to have 30 pictures and I also want to either make a mini album with them or a few 12 x 12 Layouts!! :) Wish me luck!!

So here is a picture of my scraps! I organize my scraps by color. I bought some rubber maid containers with drawers. So every color has a drawer. I got mine at Wal Mart, 4 drawers in each I think that they were $16. They stack on each other.

So I decided to use pink & purple. So I grabbed a handful of my scraps to show you what I planned on using!

This is what I did with my scraps! It is a very simple card.

Life gets busy and sometimes we just need to throw a card together!!

What I did with my scraps was make my own pattern paper! I used double sided tape and taped the scraps down on an 81/2 x 11 paper. Then trimmed and attached to my card. I used some nesties (quickutz) to punch the hole in the middle and stamped with Distress ink.

It is time for another Sketch over at Graphicat Designs

Here is the July sketch! I love Cheri's sketches! She is such a talented lady!! I use to call them Cheri Maps!!

So here is my take on the Cheri Map!!

I used her new tea digi's! Love them!! I think that they are my favourite stamps right now!! I used bobunny paper and some tim holtz grunge paper to make the tea bags! The flowers are made with a sizzix die.

I wish I was there to celebrate with you!

For your birthday I created this card! I know you like blue! (a girl after my own heart) Cause BLUE ROCKS!! and you love cats and water! So I used this beautiful stamp!! Cause he is so cute!! :) I coloured with copics and have to pat myself on the back! It only took my 5 tries to get it perfect!! Well close to perfect any ways!!

I used some glitter cause glitter is a girls best friend!! I used liquid accents made the water glossy!

Move and a New Scrapbook room!!

Hello Blog land! How have you been?? Well I have been very busy this last month or two!! We have moved!! The one good thing about moving is everything is new!

So this is my NEW scrapbook room with all the boxes in there! We were on the hunt for something and of course had to open every box till we found it! :)

What a mess hey!!

Another good thing about moving is you get to reorganize your stuff!

I had to get a card or two done so I am not finished at all but I wanted to show you where I was at!!

Still a lot of work that needs to be done but I think that I just might be half way there!! :)

"A New Challenge Blog"

So guess what!! I am so excited about this! My very close friend over at Graphicat Creations has started making digis!!!! I have to say I am so very excited about this! She is such a talented lady!! She has started a new blog for her digis and also a challenge every month!! SWEET I say!! This month is a sketch!!! Go to Graphicat Designs to join us!!

Funny story!! When I met Cheri just about 4 years ago I asked her "Do you scrapbook" She said "Yes". She also said that she didn't have much stuff either!! LOL She just had some plastic containers with paper and stuff. It was great a new friendship began!!! So we started to scrapbook together. Well a year or so after that we discovered stamping!! OMG so much fun and if I knew what kind of monster would emerge!! LOL I guess I would not have changed a thing! She now has a room dedicated to her scrapbook stuff!! The pink room!!

I am very thankful for Cheri's friendship! She is a loving, caring and very very talented lady!!

So anyway on with the challenge!! Below is the sketch!

So one of my very dear friends have been having a rough start to this year! So of course I had to make her a card! In hopes that it would cheer her up! I hope it worked!!

I colored with my copics and the stamp I bought from a friend of mine!

I love these tickets!! I cut them out with my silhouette and stamped on the with my close to my heart stamps!

This is the inside of the card!

and of course these are my favorite roses! A must have in every scrapbook room! I made these with a sizzix die. If you twirl them with a set of tweezers you don't get a big gap in the center! I used stickles rock candy to make it look like rain drops.

A Chocolate Challenge

So over at Creative Accents they are having a challenge!! A Chocolaty Challenge!!

This is what I made! I am in love with this new paper!!

I used bobunny paper, my silhouette for the heart & saying, quickutz for the lock & key. I distressed the edges with chocolate. and used my new hat pins in the ribbon. I embossed the heart with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

Cleaning Card

So I made this card for my lovely housekeeper!! OMG I love my housekeeper. She is the best!! :) So I made her this card!

I used some glittler on the bubbles, can't really see it but it is there I promise!!

I colored with copics and used a glossy accents on the dish soap.

This picture is just cool!! LOL As you can see I popped it out!

This stamp is a Hannah Stamp that I had to have a few years ago and finally got a chance to use it!!

It is one of my dearest friends Birthday today!! A bunch of us have decided to do a bit of a blog hop for her!!

I made Teila this card: Teila loves monkey's so I used this monkey stamp and colored with copics. I am still pretty new at using copics. I gave it my best try!! I used glossy accents on the umbrella & the puddle.

I made these flowers with my sissix die that I got for Christmas! OMG it is one of my favorite dies!! I used glossy accents and stickles on the flowers and used glimmer mist for the color.

These tickets are so cool! I bought this stamp from Michaels and love it!! It is in inkadinkodoo stamp. We used pink glimmer mist and added a touch of brown glitter.

Craft Card Gallery Card #3

Welcome to my last card! for Crafty Card Gallery. I had a great time being a guest designer for the Craft Card Gallery! Thank you Jennifer!

So I saved the best for last!! I had a great time making this card. Actually this was the first card I made for this week. But it turned out so good I wanted to save the best for last!!

My daughter bought me this sissix die to make the roses! Aren't they so nice! I love this die!! You will probably be seeing roses on alot more of my cards in the future because this die rocks!! Here is a close up look at the roses! I used glimmer mist to color them and diamond dust on top.

The stamp is a Mo Manning Stamp (Love her stamps!) I colored with copics as well!

Animals in the Scrapbook Room!

Happy Thursday Everyone! SO over at Scrappin 3rdeeschick She wants to see our animals in our scrapbook room!! So here is my darling little helper Junior!! He has figured out that if he sits directly on what ever I am doing he might get attention!! So here he is helping me cut paper with the straight cutter!

I am trying to take the cutter away from him!

Now he has decided to chew on the cutter!

He doesn't want to share with me. I guess he figures it is his now!

So I put him off the table and he decided to play in the garbage!!

Junior is our newest addition the the family. He is such a loving cat!

I love making these bling shirts!! They are so much fun!! I use my silhouette to make the template and then I stick the jewels on!! Simple hey! Well you have to actually iron on the jewels but still pretty simple!! They make great gifts!

My daughter loves these shirts!! Mine is the snowflake shirt and the "Naught & Nice" Shirt is my daughters!!

We have some very talented ladies!!

This is a tradition I started with my family a while ago. Every Christmas you get a new coffee mug. And inside you get some snowman soup!! I love snowman soup! It is best served with Baileys but I didn't have any little bottles

around my house!

Here is the poem that I attach to my Snowman Soup!!

When it's so cold that

you holler and whoop

It's time to bring out

the Snowman Soup!

Pour the packet in a mug.

Add marshmallows too.

And throw in these kisses

that are special just for you.

This one I put in a mug! I also etched the glass to add a personal effect! :)

All you need for Snowman soup is:

A package of hot chocolate, mini marshmallows, A candy cane and a few Hershey kisses!

Blue....Blue....Christmas!!!

That is what the challenge is! Use shades of blue!! OMG I love Blue!!

So this is what I came up with!

I used my KennyK digital stamps! These are my favorite images right now!

Colored with Copic markers. Distressed the edges.

I liquid glassed the ribbon on the presents & the North Pole words on the sign.

And of course you can't have a card with out some sort of glitter!! I used stickles for my glitter choice! :)

I used a stampendouse stamp. Glitter ritz, and I believe that the paper is Basic Grey Figgy Pudding! But I could be wrong!! LOL It was in my stash from last year and it went well with my snowman stamp!!

These are my favorite colors! Blue!! I used my copics to color this image! I made a circle card using my silhouette. I also cut a snowflake with my silhouette for the background. I used icicle stickles for the image as well.

Cards for a Sweet Little Girl

So I stumbled upon this blog and really want everyone to try and join in!! So over at

Techniques by Trish She has written the following:

Madison, was in remission from Leukemia! Their family was over joyed that such a young girl had beat this vicious cancer (she's only 6 years old). However, just last week, their family was just hit with the most horrific news........Madison's cancer has returned.

Now I personally do not know Madison BUT i'm the type of person who wants to help whenever I can. I know that I cant cure her but I can help with making her day a little better by sending her a card to put a smile on her face. So, this is where i'm hoping to get your help.....i'm hoping to get a TON of cards to cheer up Madison. "Get well" cards and anything that is super girly would be perfect!!! And if you'd like to send a small gift, ex: a barbie or stuffed animal, im sure it would cheer her up and keep her company while she spends the next several weeks in the hospital. I know she loves pink, butterflies, and anything girly.

Fun-Mare Before Halloween Blog Hop!!

We have some very talented ladies in this hop!! Some great spooky ideas!!

So for this blog hop I made sour cream containers filled with chocolate eye balls & chocolate pumpkins!!! Sounds good hey!!

So I used BoBunny Halloween paper, and stampin up stamps!! These remind me of Popsicles that I use to have as a child!! Here is a close up for you!!

To make these I just cut my paper 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 then I put double sided tape on both long sides and one short side. Then you take it and roll it like a tube (toilet paper roll) Then you stick your one side together add candies and then stick the other side together as seen above! I used a paper crimper to make the edges look like that!!

Tea Pot Card

This is my Tea Pot Card!

I love tea! Tea is one of my favorite drinks! My favorite is Earl Grey!! There is so many varieties of Earl Grey now it is amazing!! A tea lovers dream really!! While I post this I am drinking Earl Grey Garden which has strawberries, raspberries and black currents in it! So good!! Do you have a favorite tea?

I used BoBunny Paper and my silhouette to cut out the tea pot. The stamp is Kraftin Kimmy. Colored with my copic markers. I made the flower and used tattered angel glimmer mist.

I used Swiss Pixies Leisel & Her Wheelbarrow from CC Design Stamps, colored with copics, used some glitter letters. covered them in glossy accents and used my quickutz for the leaves. Stickles for on the wings. I also popped some of the leaves out in case you didn't notice!!

I made my candles again! I made these candle special for my thanksgiving dinner center piece. I used my Whiff of Joy Stamps.

To make these candles all you need to do it stamp your image on to tissue paper, then heat them on to a candle with your heat embossing tool. If you want more information on how to make these candles please feel free to e-mail me. Then you can embellish anyway you want to! I liked these candles with just the image on them this time!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #76

So I finally got some time in my room! Yipee!! The husband is away so that means I get to play in my scrapbook room that is!! So yesterday I went to the scrapbook store and fell in love with the Halloween BoBunny paper! I do not normally make Halloween cards but I figured why not! When I seen the paper I thought of my bella stamp!

I have used the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #76 this weeks challenge is this sketch:

I used BoBunny paper, embossed it with a skull folder, sanded the embossed area.

Stamp is a bella stamp, colored with my copic markers.

I used glossy accents on the pumpkin and sprayed the image with glimmer mist.

So since school is back in we can all breath a sigh of relief!! Back to normal! no more kids running around till at least 3!! So for this blog hop we are suppose to create something that kids can do too! I chose to revamp a paint can! It is so much fun just go to your local craft store and grab a paint can, put some paper on it and let your kids go wild!! See what they create. My daughter and I made her with pink and lime green!!

Here is our creation! You can put anything you want in this paint can!!

My daughter loves skulls so we had to add them on here as well. the stamp is a Stampin up set

So last week we had a birthday celebration for a friend of mine! He was turning 35! What do you get a guy who is turning 35!! At the age you just go out and buy it yourself!! LOL so I made him a few shirts!!

Just For You!

This card I made for a friend of mine Just because! This was my first attempt at making a circle card and well I think I am hook!!! I used my silhouette to make the circle card and away I went!! It was so easy!! Might have to make more of these in the future!!

I used a whipper snapper stamp colored with my copics and just threw some other things on it! I wanted to get it in the mail so I was kinda rushed!!

Anniversary Card

It is my Mother & father in laws 40th Wedding anniversary this September! WOW 40 years can you imagine!!

It is a Mo Manning stamp. I colored with my copics, used my silhouette for the photo corners & the saying. I used liquid glass on top of the letters and glimmer mist on the photo corners. I made the flower and just had to add some bling! I chose True love on the front of the card because it has to be true love after 40 years and on the inside I put "never goes out of style"

The Humming Bird

This humming bird was caught in my sun room. He was so tired he landed on my husbands hand for a rest. So my husband grabbed him to put him outside and the humming bird decided to just rest for a minute! My Daughter calls him Buzz! What an amazing picture!

When I took the picture of Buzz I really wanted to put some of my homemade flowers with him. So here is a close up of the flowers and the picture!!

So my daughter had left for two weeks and we decided to paint her room and put up some skulls! She wanted her room to be pink with lime green doors! She has a quilt & sheets that are lime green with other colors on it as well so that is where she got the idea from I think!

She has the quilt with her so I couldn't take pictures of her bed made!

I made all the skulls with my silhouette!! I love that machine!!

I hope she loves her room!! :)

Some Bling - Blah Blah Blah

So for my daughters friend's 11th birthday we didn't know what to do! So we pulled out the silhouette and put some bling on a hoodie for her!! She loves it!!

Here is a close up of the words "Blah Blah Blah!" her friend loves to talk and so this saying fit her perfectly!

The 15 Days of Christmas - Blog Hop

On the Fifth day of Christmas my sweetheart gave to me

"5 decorative Candles"

These candles are so much fun to make!! All you need is:

- Tissue paper

- White candles

- Your favorite Stamp

- Wax paper

- Any ink (NOT water based) I use Momento

- Heat embossing tool

-Anything you want to embellish with

What you want to do is stamp your image on the shiny side of the tissue paper. Cut your image out as close to your image as possible. Then you will place it on your candle shiny side out. You can put a few dabs of glue on your image to make sure it doesn't move. Then wrap your candle in wax paper holding the back securely then you take your heat embossing tool and heat your image. Don't heat it too long as it will bubble and wreck the candle just long enough for the image to stick. Remove your wax paper and there you are! A beautiful candle!! Embellish!! I embellished with stickles and some bling.

Birthday Card & Journal

Here I made a simple card so I could use one of my homemade flowers! It turned out pretty nice if you ask me! I also distressed the tag on it with my Broken China Tim Holtz ink!

This is a journal that I altered! It was for a birthday present for my daughters friend. I used my Close to My Heart Stamp set and random stamped the paper, added some ribbons and flowers and done!

I love this stamp set because one of the stamps says "Be yourself everyone else is taken" I think that is so true!

OMG we had so much fun making these. My daughter and I cut out a bunch of different flowers using my silhouette and got set up at the coffee table!! We used normal white card stock, Tim Holtz Distress ink, glass pearls, water, hot glue tool, heat (embossing) tool and some diamond dust for on top. The vibrant blue is glimmer mist I only have one of those but will be getting more! :)

I have the perfect pictures that these flowers are going to go with!!! Can't wait to show you ladies!!

Making Your Own Flowers

Ok so this has got to be one of the coolest things I have ever made!! They look store bought!! OMG!! they are so much fun to make and only takes about 5 mins!! I got the idea from

Creations With Christina .

I used my silhouette to cut out the flowers 5 flowers in total. 2 big, 2 med and 1 small. Then with my Tim Holtz craft mat I sprayed the flowers with glimmer mist then crinkled them all up into a ball. After I cleaned my mat I un crinkled them and then dried them with my heat tool. Then you start with the small one glue your pearl in the center, then glue your 2 big ones, then your 2 med ones. Then glue them all together! Christina recomends using a hot glue gun. I couldn't find mine so I used zip dry! Use liquid diamond to add dots on to your flower and you can either dust with diamond dust (found at Michaels) or leave it alone!

The Dark Blue is the glimmer mist one and the light blue is Tim Holtz distress ink Broken China. For a video Tutorial go to Creations with Christina

Birthday Candle

These are one of my most favorite things to make!! I love these thing just about as much as I love glitter!! :) So my daughter's friend is turning 11. Watch out teenage years are coming!! and my daughter wanted me to make her friend a candle! I took two pictures of this candle so you can see the whole image!

I used my mo manning stamp and my close to my heart stamps for the sayings.

I stamped on tissue paper, then wrapped the candle in wax paper and melted the image on. Decorated with a few brads.

So here is my take on the Challenge!! I made a music shaker card! I colored my Mo Manning stamp with copics. Used my silhouette for the music notes. and used the New line of Bo Bunny Paper! I think that paper is going to be my new favorite paper!!

Project 12 - April 2010

OK OK so life gets busy! So very busy I am trying to get caught up on my Project 12's!! I am not sure what happened but once again I am behind! So behind!! So anyway here is the sketch for Project 12 :

This is my take on the sketch.

I used pictures of my beautiful daughter and her new baby chicks.

I used my silhouette for the month, year, chicks & the flower border. I used some bling on the chicks for there eyes. I am not sure what paper it is that I used. I got it at our LSS. I should probably write this stuff down so I don't forget!! LOL I used little buttons on the flower border because I am sure that glitter wouldn't look very good on this LO!

Today is a very special day!! Yes it is!! because it is someones BIRTHDAY!! !I love birthdays! They are so much fun!! So I made this card special for a very special lady!! I guess you can call her my enabler!! LOL well one of them anyway!! :) I use pink Paisley paper and some textured green cardstock.

I just thought that this was a cool picture!!

Hey all so over at this new Challenge blog I have tumbled upon. They are having a Design Team call. I though why not try and and see what happens!! So over at Hidden Treasures Challenge Blog is where you need to go!!

I just though this was a cool picture!!

For the DT call you are suppose to use black, whites & grays. I used black & white cardstock, and black and warm highlights glitter. LOVE GLITTER. I used my Flourish Background Stamp by Heros arts and my Papillion Post Card stamp by Magenta! I love both these stamps just had no time to use them!! :)

SAV Challenge #24 - My Favorite Colors

Over at the Stampavie blog they are having a challenge for my favorite colors! SO much fun!!! So my favorite colors are blue & pink! together those colors are so beautiful together. SO I used some new paper I got from our Local Scrapbook store and well can't remember for the life of me what it is called!!! But I did color this image with my "NEW" copic markers!!! yipee for me!! this is the second image I have colored with and and now have decided I must get more markers!!! 24 is not enough!!!! Sorry it is not a very good picture. I must practice taking more pictures! :)

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #60 - Pearls & Swirls! This challenge requires us to use pearls & swirls!! OMG I love swirls!! and pearls are just an added bonus!! I also had done the challenge over at Creative Access Blog it was a color challenge. Two birds with one stone I say!!

So I am very excited to say that this is the first image that I colored with my "New" Copic Markers!!! Yipee for me!! Not bad for my first time hey! Love those markers!!! Stampave stamp. They are so much fun to color!!

I am so outside of my box lately! Check it out I used orange!!! Yippee ok so there is some blue in there but still Orange too!! :) So I made this card for a friend of mine that is goig through some rough times and I wish she lived closer to me so we could do coffee more often!! I used my stampendous monkeys and lots of stickles!! I colored once again with my water pencils as well.

Project 12 - March 2010

Ok so I am late once again!! I am not sure where the times goes but wow does it ever go!! :) I have told myself that I am going to start April's project 12 right away that way I am on time!! I can do it!!

For March's 2010 Project 12 I chose to do pictures of us taking down our chimney. The chimney was masive and in the middle of the house we lost a lot of space with it. It was old and needed to be removed. So I did a before to after pictures on this Layout. I used Basic Grey paper (I think) and my silhouette for the tools & my Quickutz squeeze for the lego blocks. I used Liquid glass on the hammer head and lego blocks.

So this is what I have been working on the past few weeks instead of what I should be getting done!! I made this album for a good Friend of mine. I just wanted her to know that I am here for her when she needs me and I also wanted to show her some of the great times that we have had together! I bought the album at the local scrapbook store LOVE THIS ALBUM!! It was a lot of fun making this book!

The saying says "A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future and accepts you today just the way you are.

This is one of my favorite pictures of her!! The saying here says "I get by with a little help from my friends" John Lennon. It sure suits that picture!!

This one I borrowed a skipping stones stamp set from another good friend of mine!! it starts with "bra's are like friends" "The good ones never leave you hanging" "they don't care if you are a boob"

My husband called us Wii Freaks a few weekends ago. we played every game I owned and some!! just Dance, Mario, wii sports, high school musical sing it!!

Ok. so those of you who know me know that I love glitter, flowers & bling!! I made this shirt for my daughter because she loves skulls & bling as well!! I used my Silhouette machine for this amazing shirt!! I love there new jewels!! They have such great templates. You can make just about anything with your jewels!! I can't wait till we get the iron on material!

Get Wella Bella

I made this card for my favorite Mother in Law. She fell and broke her arm Friday so I whipped this card together with the new BoBunny Jazmyne line!! Oh those papers are so pretty I had to buy 2 of each because I didn't want to cut them!! Yes I have a few issues!!

I am not very happy with the bow on the side of the card at all I put it on the card with lovely double sided tape and well the tape ripped my card when I tried to remove the ribbon. It looked good till I glued it down! So I had to leave it or make a new card!! and I didn't have time to make a new card. Anyway I used my "Get Wella Bella" for the image and sentiment. Some flowers from my stash and a charm to hide the ribbon mess!!

I chose to do pictures of my daughter and her 4H horse. Elli-May. She is a beautiful horse and Sammy just loves her. This is Sammy's first year in 4H. So here is my take on the sketch:

Ok so here is another "When Life gives you limes......Make Margaritas" so I love that stamp!! Really I do!! This time I made some margarita glasses with my blender and glittered it right up!! :)
